In recent months, numerous new models have been introduced to the market, with particular attention drawn to the latest releases from VS Factory. These have captured the interest of many watch enthusiasts in the field. Notably, the weighted version of the Rolex Daytona by VS has significantly bolstered VS Factory's challenge to Clean Factory's dominance in the Rolex replica market. Additionally, the V4 edition of the Omega Seamaster No Time to Die, featuring VS's latest super clone 8800 movement, is expected to be released soon—likely within the next week. This is excellent news for Omega enthusiasts, as replicas of the Omega Seamaster Diver 300m will finally be equipped with a super clone 88xx series movement. This development solidifies VS Factory's leading position in the super clone Omega Seamaster market. Despite increasing prices for these super clones, the advancements made by VS Factory justify the higher costs.


Previously, I reviewed the V2 weighted edition of the Rolex Daytona replicas from VS Factory and concluded that they are worthwhile purchases—a stance I continue to uphold. Several factories now produce heavy-weight Rolex replicas, including GM, QF, APS, THB, CBD, VVS, and WK. Some use tungsten-copper alloys in their cases, which can pose risks such as case peeling. Reports from industry insiders indicate that some customers have experienced peeling issues with their ordered Rolexes. GM was the first factory to introduce an increased-weight Day-Date Rolex, utilizing a heavy metal cover over the movement to achieve this. Complaints about case peeling on GM Day-Date Rolexes are rare, but the finishing quality does not match that of other factories. QF also produces weighted Daytonas, achieving additional weight through extended bracelet lengths at high prices. Similarly, THB increases the weight of its Day-Date models by extending the bracelet length. The competition among these factories is intense, with THB's Day-Date Rolexes priced higher than both Clean and VS's Daytonas—an unacceptable disparity.

The case head of the gray Daytona replica from VS weighs approximately 96.2 grams, compared to 99.3 grams for the genuine model. Previously, VS Factory claimed parity in weight, but this claim is inaccurate; the genuine watch remains 3 grams heavier. However, this difference is negligible for most enthusiasts.


The rubber strap with clasp on the VS replica weighs 40.5 grams, whereas the genuine counterpart weighs approximately 64.2 grams. The primary weight difference lies in the clasp, with a discrepancy of 23.7 grams. On replicas, the clasp must be made from stainless steel, and VS Factory does not incorporate steel sheets within the rubber.


Why hasn't VS Factory implemented measures to address the 23.7-gram weight difference, such as adding a metal cover inside the case? Doing so would compromise wearing comfort significantly.


Beyond weight, two additional differences exist. The engravings on the lugs' backs are cleaner and more refined on the genuine watch. Additionally, the sunburst finish on the genuine dial is more pronounced.
